I am just so stunned by the performance of Fighting Gravity in America's Got Talent. They are like so awesome. The concept is brilliant and one of a kind. I don't know how to describe them. I guess they're hmm hmm let me think... they are edgy. Yes, edgy is the right word. And that's what Sharon also said. Yes, they're edgy like the Blue Man group. These dudes are just so fantastic and none of them is dancer.
I wish they would win this season. I also showed my brother this video. In fact he had seen something like this and probably it was Fighting Gravity's inspiration. And my brother gave me a link to this video
Yes that is from my favorite show when I was still a kid. Masquerade! This show is very inspiring and shows how creative people in Japan are. Yeap this pingpong masquerade might have been Fighting Gravity's inspiration. But I prefer Fighting Gravity more somehow. The Japanese team brought this performance into comedy. Fighting Gravity brings it in more serious and elegant way.
The next super talent is Prince Poppycock! Let's laugh at the name!
I had the same thought with Piers. When I first saw him coming dressed like that and calling himself PRINCE POPPYCOCK, I underestimated him. But his first note was perfect and not pitchy at all. FIGARO!
And, he's like a true artist. He's elegant in a different way. It feels like living in Renaissance era after hearing him sing. It feels like having a dinner with Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. And, he dares to be different.
Ah, New York really got talent! I have to visit this city someday
