America's Got Talent Finale

I love art. And that's why I love watching America's Got Talent. The contestants of this show are just mostly very artistic. And I'm happy America has done a good job by picking Prince Poppycock, Michael Grimm, Jackie Evancho and Fighting Gravity to the finale.

First, let me mention some contestants who should have also been in the finale but too bad they just didn't make it. It's too bad Maricar and Kaya&Sadie didn't make it to the finale. Even they weren't chosen as wildcards. Too bad. I like them not because their sexiness. Well, yes I admit it they're extremely sexy, but they're very talented. Maricar, for example, her painting is just very edgy and she can make the painting process not boring at all. You know, painting might be boring. The process takes sometimes for more than an hour. But Maricar can paint for less than 5 minutes in an edgy way. Kaya and Sadie are just too beautiful to be missed. These 2 belly dancers show to the world the real techniques of belly dancing. I also believe CJ Dippa should be saluted. I have never seen a cocky but talented kid like that. He's going to be a rap star.

The AscenDance is also very inspiring. It's a combination of acrobat, dance and sport act. Dancing on the climbing wall is like a very unique concept. Studio One Young Beast Society should also be named as one of the best contestants of the season. This dance troupe is just so amazing. They're somehow better than winners of America's Best Dance Crew. Another great dancers are the two ballroom dancers, Anna and Patryk. Despite their young ages, they perform like true artists. In the top 10 Anna slipped on the stage but she kept on dancing like nothing had happened. The judges all saluted her because it is the sign of a true professional artist.

And of course, I have to mention the best act in this talent show, Michael Grasso. I still cannot get it how come he could not advance to the final. I still have no idea how he does his magic tricks.

Anyway, this is the final show of America's Got Talent



So here is my response.

Prince Poppycock was disappointing. I have to agree with Piers. I think his final performance is so boring. It is definitely a wrong song choice. Well, his voice is suitable for the song but it should not be performed in the final. We want to see something more spectacular in the final.

Michael Grimm is very consistent. He is always good. His voice is just perfect. I really like his performances especially because he's very good-looking. I really admire his style. But not only his style of course I also fall in love with his voice and musical ability. I am a fan of soul music and Michael Grimm is just fantastic.

The third performer is a very pretty girl, Jackie Evancho. She is definitely talented. If you shut your eyes and just listen to her voice, can you really believe she's just 10? She is magnificent. I've never heard a vocal performance like that performed by a 10-year-old. And she's just too pretty. I really agree with Sharon. She's so angelic. The problem is, it's not my favorite performance. I prefer her previous performance. She sang Pie Jesu. This Ave Maria is also incredible but not as brilliant as Pie Jesu.

And the last performer is Fighting Gravity. This is a totally different act than the other three. The other three are singers and Fighting Gravity is... hmmm performer. I don't know whether they belong to dance act or not. Anyway, Fighting Gravity is just way too cool. It should really win this competition. It's very edgy. And it always has cool songs! These studs are just too cool.


So which one is my favorite? Seeing only from the talent, I'd have to say Michael Grimm is the one who deserves to win followed by Fighting Gravity, Jackie Evancho and Prince Poppycock. But should we give him the title as a winner? He is definitely talented. Even if he doesn't win, he will for sure make award-winning records. So I won't let him win. I also won't let Jackie Evancho to win. Although the name of the show is America's Got Talent, one of the price is a headline show in Las Vegas. So basically I prefer acts, which are suitable for Vegas. Little Jackie is undeniably talented. She will be a real big star and she will collaborate with big opera singers like Andrea Bocelli. But she's just not a Vegas star. Then left only Prince Poppycock and Fighting Gravity. These 2 contestants fulfill all my criteria to win: talented, unique, and Vegas star. These 2 contestants definitely bring something new to the stage. I would vote for Fighting Gravity. I would pay more to watch them in Vegas than Prince Poppycock. Poppycock might be boring after several times watching him. But Fighting Gravity never bores me.

All I can do is now checking out trending topics in Twitter to find out who is finally named the winner of America's Got Talent season 5.
